The closest airport with the widest selection of flights is Lic. Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.  Limited flights are also available from select cities to Aeropuerto Internacional Amado Nervo in Tepic, Nayarit.

We will send you a welcome packet upon finalizing your reservation that will contain a list of recommended private transportation.  Cabs are also available from the airport as well as buses.

There is a currency exchange in the airport if you need immediate pesos.  The welcome packet will provide some additional options that you can choose for longer term spending.  Some travelers choose to exchange their home currency for pesos from their bank before traveling.

This depends on your plans.  If you are going to mostly spend your time close to Casa Pacifico, you may find everything you need within walking distance. Most guests do not rent a car. There are also many cabs and local drivers to take you where you need to go.  If you decide once you are here that you want to rent a car for a day or two to venture farther afield or do a little site seeing, we can recommend local companies.
