Tired of the “walk to everything” descriptions? I could walk across the country if I really wanted to. Casa Pacífico is truly a walk-to-the-beach home. Stand in the street in front of the house, turn to your right, and the Pacific Ocean beckons you — 100 steps away. In addition, there are several cafes in the neighborhood as well as small markets. 6 blocks will take you to the center of La Peñita where you will find shops, markets, banks, restaurants and bars – just about anything you need.

A full kitchen allows you to eat in whenever you like but you are still close to many of the outstanding cafes and restaurants. A short walk down the beach will take you to town in minutes for more eateries. Or purchase tamales, tortillas, fruits and vegetables from the street vendors in the neighborhood.

This is the perfect home base while you explore all that Riviera Nayarit has to offer: colonial buildings in nearby towns, surfing in Sayulita, jet-skiing, snorkeling, mountain drives, markets, eco-excursions, and miles and miles of beach. You can easily explore the other towns in the area – San Pancho, Rincón de Guaybitos, Los Ayala, Lo de Marcos, and Chacala. You will be about an hour from Playa las Tortugas and the turtle camp there. San Blas is another hour beyond.

The neighborhood provides a realness that is often missing in the resort areas.
